"Di dalam jasad manusia terdapat seketul daging, baik ia, baiklah dia keseluruhannya, rosak ia, rosaklah dia keseluruhannya. Ketahuilah, ia ialah hati" - Atau seperti yg dikatakan oleh Rasulullah (Al-Hadith)Laksana sebatang sungai, kotor punca airnya, kotorlah sungai itu sampai ke kuala.
This entry uses one tank... pure water supply entry as the analogy. All bold words refer to the analogy, normal words are the structure of the entry, while your understanding is the value of this entry. Motivators use analogy in their books as a mental image to represent un-manifested psychological values.
Okay, simplest example, ambik seekor kambing dan tunjuk kat tiga manusia, doktor, tok imam, dan penjual daging. What will they have in their mind?
Doktor: kambing yg sihat, good!
Tok imam: Kambing ni boleh dah wat semelih korban ni.
Penjual daging: 25 kilo (pergh hebat betul tgk jer dah tahu berapa berat)..
Different people with different "assumptions" on one thing.
So that is a very simple instance from knowledge perspective, how about the social perspective? Your daily perceptions of the world? of your life? of the others? Actually, ramai antara kita ialah seperti penjual daging kat atas hehehehe..
While utk seorang budak umur 4 tahun, apa yg terdetik dihatinya? Itu namanya kambing........ that's all... He has in mind purely base on what he sees.
Sungguh jauh prasangkanya melencong.
If we are the manager, we have a poisonous tank, we filter it to control the situation, to make ourself pleasant and cool. So that people pay with respect and good label. We look cool, but the poison is still there. The principles are useful when you are in control and clear. But, the point is, your thought at the first place is poisonous! It will be activated and take over you when you have "problem" that sweep away your grasp on the principles.
Last night, you had a quarrel with your wife, there was no solution. The problem resented you, lied deep in your heart, and your mind keep running to find your wife's fault, to make yourself right. This morning you went to office without saying goodbye to her as usual. You had an important company performance meeting in the morning and you saw an engineer with no input in hand, sleepy face. Your poisonous heart triggered, the filtration system by-passed, your principles get vague, your "mind" then took over you. You scolded him, you asked him to step out of the meeting room..
"I am in no mood of listening your reason to appear like that!!"
~~~~~hmmmmm~~~~~~~
Pure heart has no "problem". Why do you define hard "life situation" as problem? Minyak naik? Stubborn kids or wife/husband? Suami/isteri tak dengar ckp? Prisoned for being right (ISA maybe)? These are generally defined as PROBLEMS. When you define your hard "life situations" as problems, it effects your heart, your focus, your self esteem. It is your mind's works, it labels the life situations as problems base on its logic, give you worries, fear, those useless emotions. The reality is, problem is illusion. When you have pure heart, there is no problem at all. It is just the life situations. Seperti permukaan laut yg mempunyai arus dan gelombang. Suka atau tidak, ia akan berlaku seperti sifat-sifatnya. Don't burden your heart with it. Just let it go! Stop your mind from running uselessly inside, keep it clear to do something effectively.
Kita sebagai khalifah tugasnya membina hati untuk mengubah situasi, bukan dipengaruhi hatinya oleh situasi. Whatever the situation, khalifah's heart is clear. Kerana hatinya bebas, independant, free from "life situations" effects.
"Hanya kepada Engkau kami sembah dan kepada Engkau kami minta pertolongan"
So, wash the tank itself. Purify your heart, heart with no anticipation, neutral, independant, free, no "seeing things with labels", heart of an infant.
"Maka diampunkan dosa-dosanya seperti dia mula-mula dilahirkan"-Hadith berkenaan haji mabrur.
Islam bukan permanently prinsip hidup, sbb Islam ialah kehidupan itu sendiri. Islam bukan gula utk memaniskan air, bahkan air itu semulajadi manisnya, tetapi racun yg merosakkannya dan Islam datang untuk membuang racun tersebut.
Don't embrace Islam to be your principles of life, but use Islam to help you to find and be "yourself". Because even the principles are verily right, but the point is how you read, see, listen, feel, your comprehension, understanding, acceptability, perception towards the principles is the real value. It is yourself! Get what i mean?
Kemanisan Iman itulah fitrah, akhlak Islam itu akhlak manusia yg fitrah, yg transparent, yg suci seperti seorang bayi, yg tidak dihinggapi oleh nafsu-nafsu dunia.
So take time to wash the tank and cheers...
If tank = hati
what about mind? otak?
is it dari hati pergi ke otak?
or dari otak pergi ke hati?
antara hati dan otak ada satu talian yang sangat erat. Listen to your heart after you think with your mind. maka barulah dapat assumption yang maybe.. just maybe 80% accurate.
maybe in this case mind can be the filter itself. You filter it with the positive mind so what goes into the tank or heart is something that will not make you see thing in negatives way.
mind is a tool, thinking tool, not a filter. U can use mind but not at all time all places. Filter is philosophies, teachings, guides, prinsip hidup.
very good one bro.
we put philosophies,guides and prinsip hidup inside our mind just as we put filter inside the tool that connected to the tank.
a problem with language is comprehension context. My comprehension or understanding context may be different with u, i will try as much as posible to synchronize with what i understand from the book. InsyaAllah.
Lg satu bro, try to find separation between mind and feeling, aqal wa qalb, brain and heart (hati). Mind is processor to run the filters. Mind cannot tell what is right what is wrong, heart can. Mind think that it can too base on the principles, but how much it relies on the principles, that much it is vulnerable. The pure water is heart entiti, the poison get into our heart thru mind, thru thinking, ego, false perception towards principles. When mind energy stronger than heart, it will take over heart function. U cant stop using the mind because U rely on it so much, u rely on principled mind so much. Then u dont know whether the filter really producing pure water or only 50% purity.
maksudnya we hv to +ve thinking n have a good impression to others... mcmana pulak kalo in reality keadaan adalah sebaliknya..
cth: tunjuk kambing pd doktor, doktor ckp kambing yg sihat.. tp sebenarnya kambing tu tgh sakit?
it means the doctor assumption is wrong.
All this while u think u r right about something, some conditions, some people, but actually you are wrong. Your mind wont know, but u know, however your mind is so strong. It makes u think that it is u.
So wash ur heart from useless mind assumption, it is poison. When ur heart is pure, mind will be ur slave, u can engage and disengage it whenever u want.
Yes, apa-apa mesti datang dari hati. Jika baik hati tu, maka baik la semuanya, dan sebaliknya.
Encik Khairi->"The reality is, problem is illusion. When you have pure heart, there is no problem at all. It is just the life situations"
But life situations may be full of problems.Most of it.Right?
Nice elaboration of this entry.
Happy writing then.
once again this concerns with comprehension with word. "u" or "you" in my comment doesnt refer to the one I reply to. it is general for us, the readers including myself. it doesnt refer toin2 or bro mat genic. :-) I am sorry if it sounds specific..
problems is part of life elements, entities. How would you expect your life has no problem? So, it will there whether you cry or you smile. So, why choose to cry? Right?
smile always.. hihihi
But Allah created tears. For what?? For us to cry. Somehow, when we facing some problems, crying can be a better solution. Like half of the problem is over by crying. There's nothing wrong if we cry. Sound so pathetic, but it's true.
Yup, smile is better than crying because, by smiling.. like all the problem is gone. So why choose to cry..hmm.
So smile and the world will smile with you. And if you cry, u will cry alone. Sound like out of topic dah ni.hihi
happy smiling:D
whether you cry for something or you cry for nothing. Nabi pun menangis kan, selalunya ditikar sembahyang.
Kalau nak menangis, menangislah. tiada masalah. Just to dissipate the -ve energy.
Then it is up to you to keep it inside or to let it go. If it is inside as pain, you will cry again and again when that memory triggered. This pain reduces your effectiveness. give you sorrow, dark future.
Nabi pun melarang kita menangis sehingga meraung2 apabila ada kematian. Itu menangis yg sia2. menangis cam takleh terima kenyataan. No!
The effective cry is to cry with your heart. When?
When you are not able to change situation that out of your hand. Problems that lay inside your circle of concern, but outside of your circle of influence. tangisi kelemahan diri. This cry is a pray for Allah to give us strength to become stronger. It is when it comes in mind due to hard resistance, weakening soul, untuk meratap kepada Allah. To recharge the heart.
Don't take Islam to be your principles of life, but take Islam to help you to find and be "yourself".
Thanks for responding.
Islam here in context of "principles in Islam". Automatically Hudud, certain hukum2 feqah, certain syariah which doesn't come in our daily social life are excluded. principles in Islam more to akhlak and akidah; more to values not structures.
Islam is fitrah, fitrah is already in the heart, heart here means your soul, yourself, "you". When we grow up, fitrah will be poisoned thru mind activities. Islam is not a principle to filter the poison from going out in your daily values, but to wash "you" from inside. So use Islam to wash your heart, to find yourself, your real values.
Watch out your mind, because your mind is the main obstacles.
"nafsu berjalan di dalam darah anak2 adam"
So nafsu is in mind. When its in full control, there is no right or wrong. The only person exist in the world at that particular time is only you, "you" that are been taken over by your mind.
Totally agree with u on that part, mmg salah satu sebab mengapa air mata dicipta adalah untuk membersihkan bebola mata.
but not agree on the other part. "bukan untuk menangis".. Siap tauuu lak tu:d. huhuhu.. Memang air mata dicipta untuk menangis juga. Bukan semata-mata untuk membersihkan bebola mata.
Kalau tidak mengapa kita perlu menangis on certain situation, bukan meraung!(tu sifat orang kafir yang menangisi kematian)
Like what u have mentioned.
"Nabi pun menangis kan, selalunya ditikar sembahyang. Kalau nak menangis, menangislah. tiada masalah. Just to dissipate the -ve energy."
Memang dissipate -ve energy. But on certain situation, nak kata apa ek, pernah rasa tak dengan menangis sambil mengadu kepada Pencipta, sometimes beban or problem tu sedikit ringan. Hmmm...that the +ve part. Not all about crying is going to dissipate -ve thing.
Just an opinion merapu di tengah malam.
Happy Writing!
