Every morning people in this office read newspapers, while, I read books and some favorite blogs and forum. I watch news of the day at nite on tv, instead.
Semalam belek2 paper Metro kat atas meja ni, satu2 tajuk saya perhati.
"Kemalangan, 6 maut"
"Bomoh rogol bini"
sahabat: biasalah tu keri ngn bini, apa laa..
Owh.. bini org daa...
"Pegawai kanan rasuah"
"Artis cerai"
"mayat tidak dikenali dijumpai"
Takde benda yg baik ke kat Malaysia ni?
Why negative substances so popular and everybody seems to be interested to know what "BAD" things happened today?
These will psychologically guide them to think;
Owh God, what BAD things will happen tomorrow? Fears spread..
Saya nampak berita kat tv, newspaper tu semua seperti satu rumusan untuk peristiwa hari ini, 90% daripadanya NEGATIF..
We know the bad side stories are there, but there are some ways to tell people about them in positive manners and of course we should give more space to the positive ones, excellence, achievements, profits, happy functions, daily heroes.
Unfortunately, we know bad people better than the good ones, because bad ones are more popular.
Sometimes, the news are craps especially entertainments.
We don't have a magic stick to change them, but we must start to change ourself, our perceptions. We must have +ve Vision.
It is positive vision towards people around you, to perceive people from their GOOD sides, doesn't matter how BAD they appears in public."Always see the glass half full"
Regardless their appearance;"Wee see the heart, not the form"
These are positive visions.
Kerana itu Islam mengajar kita menyebarkan salam. Sejahteralah kamu wahai sahabat. Ini satu ucapan yg positif, yg penuh kasih sayang. Yang bermaksud saya sayangkan kamu wahai sahabat, semoga kamu sentiasa sejahtera dan menjalani hari yg baik-baik sahaja.
Tetapi kita kalau berselisih dengan budak nampak ala skin head, kita tgk ke lain, kadangkala time mood tak elok, kita mencemuh "diriku lebih baik dari dirimu". Jumpa yg nampak ala2 warak, baru kita tergerak utk bg salam. Kan?
Kenapa?
Ya, persepsi awal, kaca-mata yg memilih bulu, yg kelihatan negatif semestinya negatif, dan juga proses generalisasi mantik (abg, ayah, bapak sedara sy jahat, maka semua lelaki bg sy jahat).
But, both are human right?
Spread salam among us, among the people, regardless their appearances, sexy or not, smiling or not, muslim or not. We greet the spirit, the soul, human fundamental, not the form, the surface."People won't respect Islam with the histories it has but us"
These positive visions will guide us to appreciate people, to build good relationship with them, to tell them that they can be better than they are now. Then, they will tell us the same way back.
To be a progressive community, we inspire each other to be better, as a proactive person, we must start first.

Forgive me,but as a little precaution,i tend to see people who i don't know at all through negative vision. No matter how good or bad their appearances is.
Alasan saya,kerana kemelut dunia hari ini mengajar saya menggunakan negative vision itu dan kerana saya seorang perempuan.
And i found that it's hard to change the vision. Owhh again, that my weakness.
It is not telling that -ve possibility is zero. Inevitably, it is there.
-ve energy must be dealt, managed, and controlled with +ve vision energy in our mentality, our effort direction, our paradigm.
This +ve vision will drive ourself to be stronger, richer, wiser, and powerful in order to help others.
-ve vision will see thief as thief and bad, deserves to be scolded, jailed, useless, sampah masyarakat.
+ve vision will see him as unlucky, it is not like him to be like that, I know why you do that, and I know why you shouldn't, I will help you because I love u.
this -ve vision mentality that encourage "bekas banduan" to be "banduan" again, "bekas penagih" to be "penagih" again.
Kita tengok bagaimana negatif mentaliti yg ada dlm masyarakat sekarang menyebabkan yg busuk makin busuk. suka melabel org, dan prasangka2 itu menghalang kita dari menolong, mengasihani, mendekati, dan memperbaiki.
lebih2 lagi apabila ditambah dengan aktiviti2 mengumpat yg langsung tak membawa faedah.
Sungguh dpt dilihat, jarak ahli agama dengan masyarakat sosial yg bermaksiat amat jauh. Bagaimana kita nak jwb dlm kubur nanti?

Hope u can read carefully. I said as a PRECAUTION.
Towards people that is well known as thief or banduan. I've other perception on them. Basically i don't see them thru my negative vision all the time...and i really do hope that these people will change.
But what i really mean, my negative vision goes toward people who i don't know at all. As a PRECAUTION.
Let me give u a situation...
In a car park, one man approaching me. His hand is bleeding. Asking me to drive him to nearest hospital. Me alone on that time. No way... i will use my negative vision that this man have a bad intention on me. And i will not help him at all. If i have a partner on that time, then it will be possible to help him. But alone..I will not. There's a lot of men there and there. Why asking me? and forgive me if his hand is really injured.
If u're in my shoes, as a woman, will u drive this man to the hospital alone? What if he is just lying? Negative vision applied.
Just look at the number of crimes involving women today..it is so scary...and that's why my negative vision applied. Basically towards men that i don't know whose approaching me for something. That's it!

It is looked from broader view, daily social, normal circumstances especially in leadership view, nurturing, parenting, teaching, friendship and so on.
It is more to perceptions, mentality, and overall paradigm towards people in average.
However, in specific circumstance there are basic laws that we need to consider. Positive thinking doesn't mean you have neglect these basic laws in order to help people. it comes to basic, you have to consider your security first. look for options, choose the best to achieve win-win situation, or in your example, safe-safe situation. If there is no option rather than taking precaution to stay away, then that is the best to choose.
like natural law, u jump off from level 19th, you die. There is no way we can apply positive thinking on this.

Kayree--> Same same. It seems that what comes to ur mind is quite different from what comes to mine at first when i read this entry. It's ok then. At least there is something that can be debated rite? hihihi.
Maybe what is perceived by man is quite different from what is perceived by woman as general.

Thanks for the explanation about the safe-safe situation. That what is supposed to be applied. Safety first! But at the same time, -ve vision is also applied. Hurmmm...
Maybe I can tell you, to stay away from a bleeding hand man at an empty car park with no people except yourself is not -ve vision.. agreed?
broaden the view, don't get attached to a specific situation..
vision is, fyi, a mind eye, insight eye, which see beyond form, various angle, futuristic and principle base view.
It is everything you see by the heart, while your actions in particular problems must be depended upon situation like the basic gravity law.
hurmm...i don't know other opinion. But my opinion, -ve vision is still there.
Let say if you tell a woman with +ve vision(meaning she's going to help that man regardless of the situation) to stay away from that hand-bleeding-man, somehow that +ve vision can turn to -ve vision. Because of that warning.
and on the other side, it is u that have that -ve vision towards hand-bleeding-man. That's why you tell that woman to stay away.
It's just based on my humble opinion actually. I don't really know about others or ur opinion or what certain books is saying about it.
